Wythe Physician Practices is pleased to announce Wythe Bland Pediatrics is now officially the newest member of Wythe Physician Practices team. This marks a significant milestone in our commitment to providing high quality pediatric care to the Wytheville community. Wythe Physician Practices is an integrated network of medical practices that provide care to patients and families throughout Southwest Virginia.
The practice, now operating under the name Wythe Physician Practices - Pediatrics, will continue to be staffed by the familiar and trusted providers Dr. Matthew Aney and Kasey Stamper, FNP. Both Dr. Aney and Ms. Stamper have been long-standing pillars of pediatric care in our community and are dedicated to maintaining the same high level of compassionate and comprehensive care that families have come to rely on.

About Dr. Matthew Aney Dr. Aney is a board-certified pediatrician with a distinguished career spanning over three decades. He holds a BA in psychology from Harvard University, an MD from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara, and completed his pediatric residency at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Aney is fluent in Spanish and has special interests in lactation, sports medicine, child psychology, and parenting. His dedication to the health and well-being of children is unwavering, and he is committed to treating the whole person – body, mind, and soul.
About Kasey Stamper, FNP Ms. Stamper is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a background in trauma care and dermatology. She earned her BSN from King University and her MSN from Walden University. As a mother of four, she understands the needs of families and is devoted to providing holistic, compassionate care. Her special interests include dermatology and sports medicine.
